ABOUT BLA BLA LAND
How it all started...
If COVID-19 had a film, it would be directed by Christopher Nolan. The paradox of the world coming together by being so far apart, I think, is very Nolan-esque. Alongside some ominous Zimmer score, the trailer would show clips of the billions of lives effected by this deadly virus: the nurses, doctors, scientists, politicians, workers, civilians.

The trailer would not include me.

My lockdown experience would not be as heroic enough for a Nolan film. Arguably, it’s more destined for an Edgar Wright biopic. I spent my lockdown a 16-year-old student, with GCSE’s cancelled, doing what I do best: watching movies. I always loved doing this, but it took a worldwide pandemic for me to think “Gosh - what would the world miss without movies?”. So, I created this movie blog; a space where I share some of my thoughts on films that stick out to me, and where I hope others can to. Imagine this blog as a metaphorical cinema where, at the end of the film, instead of us groups of strangers heading straight for the aisles, the lights go up and we share and compare what we had just experienced.
Now if you’ve reached this point of the page, you’re probably about half-way through your popcorn - so quit reading this and get film blogging!
